Dr. Aaron Cheung is a board-certified anesthesiologist and interventional pain specialist. Dr. Cheung completed his undergraduate in medical studies at the University of Kansas. He then went on to complete his anesthesiology residency at the renowned Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington where he was chief resident. Dr. Cheung also pursued an interventional pain fellowship at the prestigious Columbia University Medical Center in New York City where he became familiar with the latest and most advanced procedures in pain management.
Dr. Cheung believes in a patient-centered approach to treatment, devoting the time to understand each individual’s unique needs and concerns. His caring nature and empathetic demeanor create a comfortable and reassuring environment for his patients to communicate their experiences and concerns. During the course of treatment, Dr. Cheung embraces a multidisciplinary approach and has a commitment to comprehensive care. He collaborates closely with a diverse team of medical professionals, including physical therapists, psychologists, and other specialists, to develop tailored treatment plans that address both the physical and emotional aspects of pain management.
Dr. Cheung moved to Seattle to be closer to family and to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities found in the PNW including rock climbing. He is also a big fan of basketball and a good slice of New York style pizza–which he is currently perfecting his own recipe for.
